Souped-up Meatballs and Hamburgers

We love burgers and meatballs, and if you're planning to serve either this 4th of July, why not "soup them up"? If you've never tried adding onion soup mix to your meat before cooking, let me suggest you try it now. It tastes so good and the meat is so moist!

Make patties and marinate for a few hours before cooking.

Patty mix:

1 1/2 lb hamburger
1 packet onion soup mix
3 TBSP water (or beef bouillon)
3 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce

Mix the above ingredients and mix a cup of beef bouillon and pour over patties and let them marinate for awhile. Push the center of each patty in just a little bit with your thumb (patties tend to bow while cooking, and this prevents it), and cook as you normally would. You can also use this mixture to make your meatballs for spaghetti or other meatball dishes. Enjoy!
